Tapping noise coming from motor and over heating?

    Hey guys i know alot of saw my posy about the FZR well as i said in that thread the guy sold it before i could come look it over in person.

    There is a guy here localy selling a 2002 Yamaha R6. Pretty cheap. He said the last time he road it he noticed a tapping sound coming from the motor a loss in power and it was over heating.

    To me sounds like a spun bearing or something in the clutch.

    What do you guys think? and how hard would it be to replace someting of the sort?

    Run Forest RUN! Sounds like a big headache to me. It would have to be dirt cheap for me to consider it. It can be a booger to figure out what is making the knocking sound without x-ray vision, but if you have a buddy that is a mech take him along and get an expert opinion before U end up with an expensive coat rack.
