:D Well I am happy... but my wife would like to personally thank pathebert for his efforts in showing me those photos of the stretch...

Well she will want to thank him when she sees the bill coming my way.. EEEK .. 8O

I have decided to do a very similar thing to mine.. but I have a bit of wacky ideas and I am very impatient so I contacted a local company who was in these biker build off comps on tv.... anyway they are picking up my bike on the weekend... 8) they think that for what I want doing to it.. which is alot more than pathebert has done... it will take about 2-3 months .. now ok I know the guy so I am not paying a fortune... but this is a genuine time frame.. EEEK 8O

Well I cant wait.. he is trying to get me to do more to the bike and wants to enter it in some show.. will see.... watch this space. but thanks alot pathebert you really p155ed off my wife.... but made ME VERY HAPPY!!!!

We'll want pics as the operation progresses !!
I would suggest joining 2 driveshafts with one weld, rather than a 3 piece driveshaft with 2 welds.

Thanks for the heads up... the main reason I sent it away for the chop was because I was afraid of the drive shaft system.. I only had bikes with belts and chains... so this is new to me.

anyway I wont give away any secrets apart from a springer seat will be added because I want to have a A55 and spine!

Johnrms, I dont know if you're going with the old school look or not, but I love the look of springer seats with either 1 or 2 "shocks" they are small shocks, like those seen on mountain bikes and such. they make shocks for those seats, but you could probably find a mountain bike for like 20 smacks and pull off the shock... I will hold the required weight for sure
