After many months(I work at sea so I don't have much free time) I FINALLY got my 900 up and running. Yes the carb sync was a huge pain with the pod filters but I got it dialed in perfect. The stage 3 dynojet was a breeze to install, but as it has been mentioned, the pod filters made tuning and syncing a nightmare. Not sure if it was worth it or not but once I get an idea in my head I can't let it go until I succeed or fail spectacularly.

I took her out on an all day ride today, about 200 miles. I noticed some serious off the line improvement, running smooth as silk, and I noticed an improvement in the MPG as well.

One thing I didn't like is; at high RPMs in first and second I felt a "slip" it wasn't from the power plant, felt more like a drivetrain issue... any thoughts?

CLUTCH. But don't fret. How many miles on it and how long has it been sitting AND what kind of oil is in it? The answers to these three questions are the first steps in diagnosing your issue which is most likely the clutch slipping ever so slightly. Congrats on getting the carbs retuned for the pods.
