Well guys the mighty XJ has now found a new home. I sold the bike last week and have passed on the URL to the new owner, so I hope he joins.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for the help/information that has been passed on over the past few months.

The new beauty will be sitting at home on Friday, a black 99 CBR1100XX Blackbird.

    Cheers guys and thanks again.

    Thanks guys

I think your first bike/car is always something special. So when I get settled into my new house with a large workshop area. I will be on a lookout for another XJ to sit with the Mustang and l can spend some time doing a resto.

I loved the old girl as she provided me with a leaning experience. She was running rough, which caused me more than a few hours of banging heads trying to figure out what was wrong, but when she left here, she was running oh so sweet and felt smoother than the day I brought her.

Robert your help is very much appreciated and I thank you so very much.

Goon yes a Honda (I better not mention the comments I used to make about them). It was always going to be a Ducati 900SS, I also looked at a YZF1000R, but the Bird with 30,000 K's 1 owner, with all the books and service history at $6,000 was too good to let go.
