So i went and tried to do my third colortune, since the first time was to get in the ball park, and my second time i forgot there was SeaFoam in the tank. Ran like a dream on SeaFoam let me tell ya.
So when I went to colortune this time it was sputtering on me and didnt want to idle. My #1 plug was reading real rich and I couldnt acheive a blue color after i got her to steadily idle. So i set her back out to 2.5 turns out from a gentle bottoming.
#2 read blue, but still the same idling problem. But this time she didnt want to hold at all, and I revved her up to 3.5k and she popped real good once then fluxed in idle back and forth between 1k and 500. So I'm thinking, "what da hell??"
Popped the spark plugs back in and she started up perfect and idled great.

It says the colortune only needs to be finger tight. Did I put it in too loose? Or was my engine too hot? I had jsut got back from a 20 min ride with my gf on the back. Maybe not ready for a test after a 220lb load?? I'm just confused and headed out of town for a week so this is gonna bother me all week.

I'll check it out when I get back from CO. If making it tighter doesn't work I'll replace all my boots and if that doesn't work ill clean my carbs again. I'll let y'all know when I get home
