thread help .. how to use yics

    I found a ton of threads on how to make yics tool and if to make yics tool, but not HOW TO USE yics tool. Can someone post a link to the right thread? I know its out here. TIA

    If you make it, make sure whatever tubing you use to seal the ports is high temp.

    All you really do is shove it in the port... lock in place... and sync.
    Remove it, then colortune. I believe some say to colortune with the tool in, but in my head I think it's better afterwards, because the final colortune is where your bike will idle, and that is without the YICS tool in place.

    check the current YICS thread; apparently Yamaha recommends final mixture adjustment with the tool "in." I'm going to do it both ways (Colortune) and compare.

    *edit* after I get a new tool from chacal, my homemade one melted.
