Hey everybody, I have a little question regarding my gs550, (which is coming closer to running by the second!) So while doing some diagnosing i found that plugs 2 and 4 wern't sparking. I assumed it was ignition cables untill i followed the little white wire and....Tada, the timing switch isnt making contact. So i moved it in untill it barely touches but how do i know where is the right position, is this a big issue?

Sorry no pic, but it looks just like the timing area thing on the xj

2 & 3 weren't sparking. 1 & 4 were sparking fine. The right ignition coil was having problems, the left was working just fine.

Maxhog650 and I are working together on this project.
