Anyone have any recommendations for a good rear tire for my 82 650 Seca? The current one has absolutely no tread left on the middle 2/3 of the tire.

You are in the great Pacific Northwest.
I'm just north of you 2 min North of the 49th. If you plan on riding rain or shine is my first choice is bt45 Bridgestone or Avon am 22/23 if it's fair weather only .on my nice seca has SE11 Bridgestone
That work well for most riding ( not draging foot pegs ) ok you can do it with se11's but they start to dart around at full lean above 80 mph and it's not the shocks I have new Progressive ones

Would these recommendations also work for a seca 750?

You bet , had a new one back in 81 only owned it for 6days . At dealership we only had new black ones left at end of August so when a customer came looking for a red one mine was the only one he pleaded with me to sell it to him so with just 350 Kms on it I was bike less on Friday night took a used bike home and only weeks later we got word from Yamaha that new xj650r's where on the way. sweet for me!

Oops well too late now, I guess I'll have to be careful, maybe buy a bt 45 front if I feel uncomfortable.

    Thanks again
