So I had my fabulous dealership install new Kenda Challenger tires and they look like a 1,000 bucks. One issue that a have to warn others possibly is the 110/90-19 barely fits in the fender and rubbs in 2 places. As a puriswt, I will go back to the O E M sizing for the front. The plus sizing for the rear looks and works. 130/90-18. It looks sweet. Any ways I had to eat the new tire costs and will take the tire down to a cycle salvage place & see what I can get for it.. A possible lesson for any of those willing to step out of the OEM arena.

A month ago I'd have disagreed, but having got a cheap pair of 100/90 and 120/90 V-rated GT501's and just about scrubbed them in I'd say they're pretty good now.

Bearing in mind this is on a 29R so maybe more applicable to 900 seca's, but handling's pretty good (whitelined a bit before I fixed the forks but I reckon that's sorted it), nice & stable, good turn in.

Also let me add, it's a joy to ride a bike with properly hand balanced wheels. Really should be done, more accurate than "dynamic" balancing IMO and you can take your hands off the bars at any speed (and be happy to put them behind your back if you REALLY wanted too, not just covering the bars "in case" it wobbles 'cause it just won't!)

    A 110 is a bit big for the front anyway. I wouldn't go beyond a 100/90-19 ("stock" equivalent would be a 90/90-19.)
