    im in the middle of making my xj 750 a rigid, and the more I work on it the more I worry about doing all this work for nothing, ive already cut the sub frame off so theres no going back now.

    the beam that bolts to your rear shock mount and then welds to the back of your frame. how strong are each of these two spots? I dont wanna get on it, ride it 5 miles it have something bend and have the frame hit the ground. any good info will put my mind at ease...atleast for a little bit lol

    well the easiest way to do it is just take out the springs and just ride struts but it sounds like your too far beyond that point... i think the kevineleven has a very good rigid and he takes lots of good photos so you might think of looking over on his thread for some ideas ... i think the name of it is "cosmetic mod's done" and its in the XJ modifications category... go to about page 8 and look at the pics.. hope they can help!
