HI I changed the oil and filter . I Put in 2.65 L of 20w 50 , yet my guage on the side says its empty or near empty . So I added another .5 L. Started my bike , it ran for a few seconds then died out , I assume it compression gets messed up when there is too much oil, so I removed the 250 ml , and now it runs but sputters. Did I damage the engine? Could there be too much it there still ? Will this damage my engine ? thanks

Did you have the Bike on the Center Work Stand?

You get a false reading if you did the job on the side stand.
The bike is leaning to the left and the level looks low.

I doubt you harmed anything mechanical.
You may have contaminated the Spark Plugs, though.

Try changing the Sparklers for a new set of four and see how she runs!

I went through three sets of Plugs last week just Plug Chopping my 900.

Although I have a collection of Plugs, now ... I put a whole set in the Tool Pouch Area and will have Plugs that I can depend on if one gets fouled by leaving that Choke open for too long or somebody you meet along the road needs a Plug or two juust to get going!
