Would this really be any more comfortable than the stock seat?

I've been wanting a seat like that for awhile now. I'd say it depends on the type of riding you do. I'm not sure I'd like it when doing twisties...

I got one of those with my bike and sold it. On my 650 it sat me too far forward for my liking. I think it may be a bit more comfortable if it fits you.

I had one of those on a Honda Magna. I will agree that it sits the rider more forward than a stock seat. However, it was much more comfortable than the stock seat of that bike. I am debating on if I am going to get one for my 650 or not. I did like it tho.

Oh...I didn't even think about how "confining" it might be in the twisties. It's on Ebay right now, last I looked, it was going for $50.

Not just "in the twisties." It limits you to the ONE seating position, also not good if you do any distance riding--doesn't give you the option to change positions much.

I saw this seat on JC Whitney's web site. There were two listings for the seat. One to use your existing seat pan and a higher price if they sent the seat complete with a pan for the 650.

I think you should get one of these and let us knw how you like it........... :)

I never thought of the different riding positions. I have 4 foot positions I switch between when on a long trip (pegs, back pegs, hw pegs, turn signals). I could see it helping with the HW pegs, not so much on the rear pegs.
