As much as I like the bigger capacity, I decided the big tank has to go. Need a 650 or 750 Seca tank. Mine has a small dent on the right top sidem and the emblems are ugly, has a few small scratches and stuff, but the inside is clean. Would want something in similar condition, or willing to trade up or down with some cash added. If anyone is interested, I'll get some pics.

    Thanks!

    I recently acquired a Seca 750 Tank.

To be honest I don't know much about the tank, but I can tell you this:

This inside is a bit rusty and it has a pin hole leak (picture with my finger) that a PO before the PO tried to fix. I have no idea of the fuel sender works. It has no petcock or gas cap. (Maybe the maxim parts fit).

It may not be a perfect swap but let me know what you think. Others might be able to clarify which year it is off of (82 or 83).

EDIT: Pics would be appreciated and what color is it?

If we traded bare tanks (no parts) that would be ok with me. I have a functional but damaged maxim tank (dented by cap hinge which will make repair very difficult and now the cap does not seal properly).

Well, I kinda hate to trade known non-leaking non-rusted tank for one that may or may not be able to be patched. If it's got one pinhole, chances are it's got other spots that are pretty thin. But, if you're willing to sell it, I may buy it from you. Just don't really want to get rid of mine in the worst case scenario that I can't fix yours.
