    Its rough cosmetically, but it runs great. Some new tires, a new headlight and some more works and it will be good. It was just what I was looking for handling-wise.

    The GS-Twin site (http://gstwin.com/) will be your friend. I also thought I had seen a familiar signature here in the XJ-Bikes forums that I remembered seeing in the GS-Twin forums - someone with great experience/credibility in carb tuning - so he may chime in here too.

    awesome.. I signed up but never got the second email from GStwins... im just wingin it for now. Getting my tires soon, head light lens then get this beast inspected.

    IIRC there was a fairly simple carb mod that really improved the stock factory lean (for emissions) setting. Check out the GS-Twin forums.
