Guys. I need some help. :?:

Does anyone know how to machine or true a rear drum brake? My rear brake drum has some worn/high spots which are decreasing my stopping power?

I've heard some suggestions, from emry cloth to using a drum sander, but all those suggestions, though helpful, would all result in a drum that in not round and could even be worse then what I have now. 8)

Has anyone been able to turn a rear drum brake on a cast wheel?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

It has to be done by a machine shop.

Wiz is right you'll need to have a shop do it.

Or get on eBay and pick up another wheel assembly for $10-$20 and hope its drum is in better shape.

Which bike? I've got one off a 400 Max you can have. (Unfortunately that's all it will fit.)
