Having obtained a front wheel marked 'suitable for tubeless tires' for my xj550, and having invested in a new valve and tire, can I just confirm with you guys that the metal washer goes inside the rim, i.e just the securing nut and threaded valve stem are visible on the outside.
    Thank you.

The washer goes out side ( the rim goes between the rubber washer and the metal one). Otherwise you wont get a good seal.
