It depends on if you have the power up kit or if you blocked off the wastegate. You can get up to 15 lbs of boost before the pop off valve in the intake airbox goes off. I have heard of people going out and having larger compressor wheels and putting 900 top ends on them. But you really have to ask yourself if you actually want that much power on something that doesnt stop that great. You can get either R1 or R6 rotors and machine up a carrier for you caliper and upgrade the master cylinder for more stopping power and upgrade the front fork springs. As you can see its going to cost a bunch, is it really worth it??

lol yeah i realise that it is really not that clever. but it would be cool to have a turbo bike. and i dont really like all the new stuff. sure there fast, maybe even to fast. but i just like to have things that are different and fun. i have a whole bunch of aircooled and watercooled vws aswell.

I'd just fix the brakes and suspension and ride it for what it is.

Whoops...that's EXACTLY what I AM doing

FWIW, I have had the bike up to 180-190 km/h. It feels like it's going to go to the moon when on boost, but the urge tapers off pretty quickly above that speed, so realistically, I think you re looking at around 210-220 km/h on the top end. Methinks this bike is best suited to long sweepers where momentum can be kept up and the bike can be kept on the boil. It does make a pretty nice personal tourer though.

If you are stuck on a turbo bike, see if you can find a Suzuki XN85, as they are the rarest and most valuable, arguably the best handling, but the slowest. The Kawi was the fastest and most powerful, the Honda the most technologically advanced (natch) and "different" since it used a watercooled V-twin. The Yamaha was probably the most flash, but the simplest one of them all. All the others had fuel injection, but the Yamaha had pressurized carburetors. Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages. All are pretty much orphans nowadays, although you can get a full stainless exhaust system out of the UK for about $2000 for the XJ.

well with what theay said i would like to tell you about a friend that put a turbo on a gsxr600 he asxed if it could be done i said any thing can be but what's the point of that much power he said it's not relly for power but just to said i did it so i helped him tap a line in the block for oil to and from the turbo with a lot of help. it took about a month the end resalt was him riding down a country road and a nother sport bike went wizing by he pulled the throttel and fliped the bike right over killing him self. (so i know it was him not thinking that made it happen but why would you want to see how much psi you can get).

You want some real power out of that stock turbo change the head like said before jet up the carb and you will have all the power you need. and even more to take to the track wich i hope is all you plan on using all the power for
