Should I be concerned that my turn signal switch doesn't move as freely as it used to? Is it possible to "lube" it. I apologize for the dumb question but I thought I should seek some expert advice before I bust out the spray lube.

I would strongly recommend careful disassembly and cleaning, then lubricate appropriately upon reassembly. Yamaha control pods are actually quite simple inside and can be taken apart and repaired effectively. I wouldn't just spray something into it, you could make matters worse.

I cleaned the inside good then used dielectric on the connections.
It freed up my horn and turns signal so it moves smoothly.

Never a dumb question. I have a similar problem. It all started when I used some contact cleaner inside my switch housing. I think I may have also bent some of the contacts. I to am interested in the responses to your question.

Once again, this forum provided the help and support I needed to fix this. It was really easy. Just removed the screw from the turn signal switch, popped the button off, and I was able to get my nozzle in there from my spray lube. A couple short shots and it is moving smoothly again. Thanks again, everyone at xjbikes!
