    Two questions:

    1) Does anyone know if my XS400RJ Seca uses the same valve adjusting discs as the larger XJs? Mine are approximately 1.125 inches in diameter.
The OEM part number for the one I'm looking for is 1J7-12169-E1-00.

    2) If they are the same, does anyone have a 255 they would be willing to swap? I have 260 through 280.

    Thanks!
    Herb

I dont have the size you are looking for but I know a good place to get them. Try these people. They were very courtious and fast shipping to boot. http://www.dual-star.com/index2/Brand/K ... 0shims.htm I am not sure what size you are looking for but they have the 29mm and the 25. Just give them a call.

Yes they are the 29mm size and are used on a lot of models.

And you can expand the model list to include Kwaka Z900 and Z1000. All the same size shims. XS/XJ 1100 are also the same.

Again: local yama dealer does NOT charge for shims just the labour to install as the shims never wear and they fit a lot if not most yamas.
