    Can some on please tell me how the valves are adjusted on an 85 XJ700 airhead? Got one tapping on cylinder #1

    Ok I found the excellent tutorial on doing the valves posted by Bigfitz52.

    Now I need to know where one can acquire the special tool for holding the valves open.
