Can someone please tell me something.

I have been trying to find parts for my 84 XJ600 but I have just found something on ebay.

From what I can understand my 84 XJ600 in Australia is the same bike as a 84 FJ600 in the USA.

Can someone please set me straight. Will parts from a FJ600 suit my XJ600????????????

Not sure why yamaha did it but the FJ and the XJ look identical, the FJ in the top picture is identical to my XJ600.
The FJ, FZ, XJ, YX Radian are all built around the same running gear and most parts will be interchangeable, with major differences around the frame.
FJ & XJ look the same (i used monoshock linkages from an FJ on my XJ)
FZ has a deltabox beam frame
XY radian is an old style twin shock on back like the xj650.
