    I need 4 #260 valve shims for my 550.

I know I can get them from a couple of guys on the board, but I thought I'd check if anyone local had any for sale/trade (I'll take a gift, too, I'm not picky :) )

So, anyone in Minneapolis area got any 260 shims?

If you have old ones to exchange your local shop may just swap you

I would offer some help if I had any since i'm just in Mankato, buuuuut no tengo shim-o's. The smallest shims that were in my bike were 280's or 285's I think haha.

I'll check to see what I have at home. If not, Blue Cat has some but they are jerks. Sport Wheels is where I got mine, but they are a bit of a drive.

I hit Sport Wheel today. Got the four shims for $13 and change. Plus, I got to wander around a bunch of bikes.

    :headdesk:

One of the shims they gave me is the wrong diameter. It's a hair larger than the others, enough to not fit.

    Eh...

probably 29.5mm shim. those go on Suzuki's of similar age

If you do your research I'm sure they'll let you return it for no charge.
