Wanted: Black Maxim 650 gas tank, badges

I am looking for a black gas tank for an xj650 maxim the one with the blue sparkel to it, also still in the market for tankbadges and sidecover badges,

I PMed you two ebay links for sidecovers. I believe the same seller also has the black tank up. As I recall though, the badges are missing.

I already have a dented and rusty tank, anyone have a newer one, or at least one in good shape?

 

Mpotter, I have a VERY nice 650 Maxim tank (off my '82), electrolyticly cleaned inside, fogged with oil, with nice gas cap and the key, brand new pair of Yamaha emblems, petcock (which works), and I'll even throw in a free petcock rebuild kit. I replaced the tank on my 650 with one off of a 750. One tiny, tiny ding in the tank. But it's painted maroon. So you'll have to shoot it black while you're getting the ding out. $ 90 plus shipping. The emblems themselves were over $50.........

 

I have at least one sidecover badge, probably both. You can have them for the cost of the postage if you want. They are gold coloured, from my '83, and aren't perfect.
