while putting my carb rack back in, i had a dumb/lazy idea... I figured i could take the engine intake rubbers off, shove them onto the carbs, then bolt the carbs + rubbers back on to the engine. not feasible, can't get a tool in there to screw the ports back on. oops 8O Now i need new gaskets for these rubbers. does anyone have any or know a source? thanks!

They have a million of them down at AutoZone or any Auto Parts Store.

Get a sheet of Gasket Making Paper - Medium.
    Trace one.
A little kid could do the tracing for you.

    Cut 'em out.

    Scissors (sharp)
    X-Acto Knife
Single Hole Paper Punch (Perfect stud holes every time)

If you don't like cutting-out the Inside Diameters.
    Sacrifice a 19mm Socket.
Grind the Inside and Outside Diameter to a keen, cutting edge.

Use the Socket to Cookie-cutter the large holes.
Place as much of the Sockets cutting edge along the Inside Diameter to be cut.
Hammer - Whack - Move Socket along Diameter -

    A Gasket is made.

i cut my own. the price for new ones was rather stoo-pid, or for a cheaper price i was going to wait a week. had the paper in my garage, cut my own in about an hour. i think mine are better than the oem anyway.

i recommend using permatex hi-tack both sides, it does a great job of sealing paper gaskets. the slightest vacuum leak will throw off your jetting.
