hit the warning button once and it turns the red light solid. (functionality: not much)
hit it once more and it will turn the warning light off completly untill there is another warning. (functionality: great if you are aware of the problem and want to stop the annoying red flashing light from distracting you)

the check button (apparently) tells the whole system to do a check of each item on the list. but mine doesnt work on my bike and even if it did...(functionality pointless.)

    thats my two cents.

btw what kinda bike do you have. you should put it in your signature. so people wont keep asking you that haha. hope that helps. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Basically they are idiot lights, only to make you aware of an issue.

When you turn the bike on it will check all the items on the list, you will see the list cycle through each one. Additionally you can hit the Check button to run a check at any time.

I can't remember all the items but the system does work, for example, my stand indicator comes on when i first start the bike on the stand.

When the warning red light starts flashing you can hit the Warning button once to cancel the flashing, good if you want to be reminded but not want the flashing distracting you while riding. Hit the button twice to cancel but yes it will flash again if the error returns, like in the case of low fuel.

You sometimes hear this system referred to as a computer, it is but it's not as fancy as it sounds, it's still just warning lights and this particular "computer" has no interaction with the functions of the bike so if any lights come on they won't change any operation of the bike. If your computer works then great, you'll have a heads up if something is amiss. If not, then there is no loss of operation, only loss of information.
