We tried and failed

My XJ600 really could do with a carburettor overhaul and one of my workmates has bought an XS750 which Definately needs some attention. Where we work there is a lab and they had an ultrasonic cleaning bath.

We decided to tell the lab we need to clean some glue nozzles so as not to arouse any suspicion so my mate asked if we could do this.

A little later I asked the same question and the lab assistant suggested that buying new nozzles might be a better idea. Honesty got the better of me and I confessed that what we actually wanted to do was clean out our carburettors.

"What's a carburettor......?" she said!!!!!

After drawing a picture showing a piston, valves, jets and fuel accompanied by one of my long-winded and thorough explanations she said "Oh, it's broken"
