I have a 1983 Seca 750 and I am wondering what the valve adjustment interval would be. I am sure other newbies would also be interested in knowing what the intervals were for the various bikes if they were not a standard interval across the bike families.

This may be a question already answered, but I don't seem to be hitting the right search word combination to find it.

If you don't know whether or when the last valve clearance check/adjustment was done, then your current interval is NOW.

After that, once every 5,000 miles is the factory recommend.

+1 on the above; if you don't know for sure when/if it was done last (or ever) then your first interval is NOW.
