Owners never seem to be able to buy just one!

Cheap Thrills for the Mechanically Inclined.

Pretty low miles on both. It would be worth it to have a couple of extra turbochargers at that price. Ideally, I'd have three, a stock one, a Turbo 900, and a Turbo Maxim X.

Supposed to be a guy coming to buy mine tonight. We'll see...

They probably both have the very desired speedo that goes above 85 mph. Keep one and sell the other for parts. Unless you are like me and have extra parts stashed in every corner of the garage. Then I would have a pissed off GF telling me that I do not need three of these bikes :) Heck she hated it when I had my Seca 550 stocker, my turbo seca, my old race bike another seca 550 and my toy for the go cart tracks, a ysr 50

    Ain't that the truth!
Just looking around for a few spare parts, I came across a local guy selling two Seca Turbos as well.
These I got are a couple of parts bikes for sure, but I now have a BUNCH more spare parts! For a couple of hundred bucks!!
I may be able to get one back running again, but it will have to wait 'til next winter.
Meanwhile, I'm still carefully cleaning out all the years of neglect on my runner.

Hey TurboDan, is there any chance you have an extra fuel check valve you'd be willing to part with? The last time I did a fuel system cleaning, I didn't put that tiny little wispy spring back in the check valve......had a few too many to drink that night, and now it's gone forever, I can't find it anywhere!

That's a good deal for two almost complete bikes, there seems to be quite a few turbos up north. You can never have enough spare parts when it comes to these rare beasts!

A couple of years ago, a lady decided she wanted my lane while I was in it and I went down trying to avoid her. It took a few months to get the V Star repaired to new condition (her insurance paid for it.)

About a month after my accident my stepdad asked me if I learned anything from it.

I said, "Yeah, I need to have a second bike in case one of them is down for repairs."

He just walked away, shaking his head and mumbling something about me being crazy.

There's nothing wrong with owning a couple bikes.....maybe even 4 or 5! I know the insurance company is getting tired of me calling and asking to switch my insurance back and fourth between them!

Forget about my question there, TurboDan, I found my spare check valve under a pile of Honda parts in the corner of the garage....I was quite excited when i found it since they've been discontinued for 20 years!
