What is the proper way of tightening?

    on front and rear wheel of a shaftie. on the rear do you tighten the pinch bolt than the axle or do you tighten the axle then the pinch?, and on the front its the axle nut to center it then the pinch?

    As for the front, you are correct. (Bounce the forks before tightening the pinch bolts.)

    Can't help you in back; haven't had that part of my shaftie apart yet.

    Rear is axle first then pinch bolt. Just like on the front.
