I have a Yamaha XJ 700 Maxim N. It is in great shape cosmetically. It has about 32,000 miles on it. I just put brand new tires on it and a brand new battery in it. I have a parts bike that includes a complete running engine and not much else. The parts bike has near new tires on it as well as well as a custom-painted gas tank with the Misfits logo on it (black with a skull basically).

The Maxim will not button-start, but I can push start it with just one or two steps reliably every time. That is how I am riding right now until I can figure out why it won't push-button start.

I am curious for any opinions on what the sell or trade value on all that would be. Just a ballpark as I know there are no pics or details or anything. The Maxim is beautiful with nice chrome. Runs great when push started. I ride it around town, on highway, etc. Any thoughts? 1K?, 1.5K? More/less? More trade value than sell value or vice versa?

Depends on a few things. Where you are located is a big one. Here in Socal a bike like you describe can be had for $300 to $600. It also depends on the cosmetic condition of the bike. Pics would help us help you out more.
