what seat for 550 maxim atv?

    i have made an atv using a 550 maxim frame and atv axle and front end. i have a tank for a maxim on the "atv" right now. what seat can i put or should put on this? what would you do?

    also will a xj750 seat fit on my maxim? seems like the bolt pattern is the same, and the front clip would work as well.

    A motorcycle seat will likely look very out of place on an ATV. Since you have already modified the bike, just find a seat you like and modify it to fit. Afterall it is just a seat.

    i have purchased the seat, i understand what you meen about looking awakawrd, but i have the maxim tank, so it will line up well with that, with little or no modofication at all. like you said its just a seat. we shall see.

    mlew, i def will, when its up and running. id say in a week or two max. after its all running all i need is my seat to show up in the mail, drop oil and gas in, and put new front brakes on before i can see how it handles. but yeah pics for sure soon.

    lol, yeah i hear you. just got new , used headers, and am waiting for the inards for the oil filter housing to arrive until i start it up back from the dead. well 2 monthes dead. when i recieved this motor, it was sitting in a yard on a maxim, with weeds growing though the entire bike. i have faith in the maxim motor. we shall see.:)
