    An xj650 and an xj650R?

    I've seen on eBay parts for xj650r. I don't know what the difference is.

    Help please. :)

    In terms of interchangeability:

    If you have an '81 650 Maxim, it will have the same, pre-YICS motor as the XJ650R Seca.

    If your Maxim was made in '81 but is actually an '82 with a YICS motor, very little will interchange.
