Whats this metallic noise?

    I can't remember I had this metallic noise before (you hear it best right at the start of the video before the phone cuts the volume),
    It runs like shit, I haven't sync the carbs yet and the pilot fuel jet is to large.

    Exhaust gasket leak at the head?

    Ohh sorry, should have mentioned, the smoke is from the exhaust wrapping!

    Minor exhaust flange leaks often sound metallic. I wasn't going by the smoke.

    finish tuning it then if it's still there try tightening the headers. don't break one off

    Take Polock's advice to heart and don't break one off.

    You did use new gaskets, right; and dug the old ones out of the head first (even though it may not have looked like there were any in there?)

    Best bet would be to loosen the whole system; then hold each head pipe snug against the gasket/head as you tighten each collar to spec (which isn't much, 7.2 ft/lb or 9.7nm or 1.0 kg/m.) THEN tighten up the muffler mounts. But don't just start cranking on the head pipe collars, if a pipe isn't seated 100% you'll be fighting the whole system trying to pull it into place. Better to seat and snug each one individually first.
