Man, I should have bought this years ago...

Abba sky lift. I bought it with different adapters for my ZX, xsr and cbr900rr

Only testest two of the three possible settings. The third position is butt up.

    Easy to move around too.
Need to replace tires and fork springs on this bike, this will make it so easy....

Just need to keep an eye on the fluids when lifting it up with nose up or down.

That is a interesting lift, just reading about it. Looks like for your area and what the lift offers you, that is a great choice. I see they have kits that change for each type/make of bike you get. That is a interesting concept. Keep us up to date how it works for you.

Yeah, they shipped it out on a friday and i got it the next Wednesday. Impressive shipping speed from the UK to new York.
Happy I can use it on several bikes.
I actually spent days reorganizing my garage to create a larger work area so I can fully use it and turn bike any way I want.

I was going to mention that the garage looked like you reorganized.

That lift is the BOMB! I'm still using jack stands and my multi-use floor jack.
Probably won't work on any of the older XJ's right?

And, I can't believe how nice that bike is. Hard to go wrong on the deal you got on it.

Yes, I reorganized in preparation for the stand and the space required to fully take advantage of it. I also wanted to be able to work on bikes again, it's been too long.

Liking the stand. I was working on bike for a bit and can move it around the way I want. It's nice. Just really needs the room to do so.
Oil change would have been easier on lift table, but it worked.

This stand is really really useful when doing frontend work.

Looks nice, a little tight but it does work. I see that little bike next to the Kaw, I am thinking that wold be a great color for the frame of the Kaw with the green body work ;)

Looks like you are coming along and getting her tore down. What a clean looking motorcycle you have, I know I keep saying that, but it really is that clean.

You mentioned you're planning to pull the engine, and curious to know if you can do that while it's on the stand, with out having an issue with the rear mount?

Also, you may want to swap out the brake lines while you're at it, if they are the original ones. You might even find a braided kit for that model.
