I was looking at the bike this evening and figured I'll be trying the Rickcomatic yics tool after getting the bike back together, but have no idea where this passage would be found.

    Help a Newbie.

Here is where it is on the 750.

It is the bolt in the middle of the picture.

I must be blind or not looking in the right spot on my 700, I still can't find it.

I'll try finding it once I get it out in the sunlight today.

Had a look through the XJCD service and owners manuals for the XJ700X and can find no mention of YICS or having to use YICS tool to do carb sync, so I would guess your bike does not have YICS?

The right spot would be on the side of the block at the back near where the head joins the block.

    Thanks Kiwi,

I just assumed it had the Yics, but we all know what happens when we assume things.

I just recently sent in for the XJCD so I'm looking forward to having something to look at for more info on this bike.
