Hey all ! , I was just checking my valve clearance on the bike I'm working on for the lady while i wait for the return of the frame and it seems that all my valve clearances are IN Spec or loose whimsically so on the intake side
from what i have read this is very rare , and i am wondering what to make of it

on the intake side ( after 3 rounds of mesurements )

    1).15 mm fit .2 didn't 2) .25mm fit .3 didn't 3) .20mm fit .25 didn't 4 .25mm fit .3 didn't

    on the exhaust side

    1) .15 fit .20 didn't ( in spec) 2) .15 fit .2 didn't ( in spec) 3) .20 fit .25 did not ( loose end of IN spec? ) 4) .15 mm fit .2 didn't ( in spec )

so why are my exhaust valves pretty good and my intakes GAPING open?

since they tighten with wear am I ok on the intake side ? or is it much too far out of whack

"Loose" ---> IN Specs is OK. ( Genuinely "IN Specs!!!)

Loose OUT of Specs places you in jeopardy of "Throwing-a -Shim"

Throwing a Shim is Bad News.

excellent RICK Thank you ! any idea why they would be so horribly loose on just the one side ? I am very skeptical that anyone has been in there for at least a while before she was parked and i happened across her

Somebody before you may have used a certain manual that gives the wrong specs for the intakes.
