Who Knows Colorado Roads

    This spring I'm taking a drive to Omaha NE to see my son.
    I've flown before but want to drive this time.

    I want to avoid the Denver and Colorado Springs traffic on I-25, so I was wondering... If a person jumped off I 25 at Trinidad and took Hwy 350 to Timpas and then crossed over to Hwy 71 to get to I-76 at Brush, would that be a good route?

    Will I save time over I-25?

    Is the road a good road?

    Is there a bunch of speed traps?

    Anything I need to know about this road?

    Where is a good place to stay in Limon?


    I got lots of questions!
