If you want a great price on tires, email my good friend chris at chris@beabiker.com. Tell him you know me and he'll hook you up. He works for a shop in cherry hill, nj called, be a biker. He's been a friend for years and is straight up. Has been with me. I strongly recommend him.

Not sure if they still have them but I just got 2 bridgstone spitfires S11 tires for less than $150 delivered to my door. They were on closeout. I am actually expecting my order to be here today according to tracking.

Local shop wanted over $250 before tax for the dunlops they carry.

    ****EDIT****

as far east as you can get in michigan 43.027407,
my first set of tires ever were ordered through Chapparel i think. back in 92. they were Metzler 77s...

MiCarl here just put Kenda 657s on my 900R for $100+/- installed...

i cant help you with any MN tire places although some people have had good luck with 'FULL' service tire places that deal with all sorts of tires like bike, ATV, farm implements, truck and auto tires...

Last year I bought a pair of Bridgestone Battleaxe BT45's from motorcycleproshop.com. Just over $200.00 for both, with shipping. It cost me about $80.00 to have them mounted and balanced at a local shop.

105 and 80 sounds amazing! Quality wise though, are the S11s better? I'd like to have a longer lasting tire

When I looked into the S11's people said they were getting close to 5000 miles on a rear tire.
I wanted traction more then mileage, so 5000 was fantastic.
I figure that's atleast a seasons worth of riding.
$50 dollars for a new one over the winter, call it good.
As far as the tire, so far so good, they've held tight on all but the hardest acceleration.
Catch a bump shifting at 9K and she'll spin a little for ya.
