Why do I have a black strip? XJ 750

    Hello all,

    I just bought this bike recently. I thought the black stripe was just a sticker. But, this sucker is a factory emblem. My guess is, this bike was the full touring model with the windscreen and backrest. Anybody know the history of this black stripe? IMG_20141031_205301137.jpg

    I was used on fairing bikes. There should also be a matching thin stripe that wraps around the rear cowling....
