I need carb boots bad and can get some off of a 82 Seca Turbo. I think from reading here they will. I dont want to pull my carbs yet until I know that they will.

Otherwise anyone know where I can get some?

    Thanks

    Joanne

    Hi Joanne,
according to the XJ650J parts list the carbs are Hitachi HSC32 (32mm) and the XJ650LJ(turbo) has Mikuni BS30 (30mm?) so...

I'm thinking that there would be some real differences since the Mikuni seems to be an all round physically bigger(longer) carb also (apart from the throat size) so the boots might be shorter to suit but definitely a smaller internal diameter.

The XJ750s all seem to use the Hitachi HSC32 though... whereas the XJ900s look like Mikuni BS35 and BS36... and the XJ550 looks like Mikuni BS28! I think?! It looks like the turbo is the odd one out, from my bit of research at any rate.

    Hope that helps.
