Will carbs from an 83 midnight maxim fit my 82 maxim 750?

    The carbs on the bike I just bought are toast. I found some carbs that are in good condition with diaphragms in good shape but not sure if they will fit on my 82 maxim 750. Has anyone had carb issues with these bikes? I'm worried about dumping a ton of money into a bike that may not last long.

    They will fit only difference is color. They are both 750s right. All the 650s and 750s interchange except turbo and 85- Only difference is jetting from the 650s to 750s
