Will the stock mufflers from a 2008 Harley Road King fit on an 82 Maxim 650? They're slip on style, but I'm thinking they would be too long, but I've not seen them in person. They're take-off's after the owner bought the bike and immediately started modding it.

Sportster Mufflers fit for sure. PainterD has some on his bobber.

Thanks MN. I'm going to go by the Harley dealership today and compare the Road King and Sportser mufflers and see if they're the same. Crossing my fingers on this one.

Depends on what you want for length, really.

You can get an adapter for any size exhaust. I had to step mine down a bit to fit on the reverse cone. Cost me $0.00 and 5 mins at a local muffler shop.
