Will the headers from an '83 Midnight Max fit the '85-'86 Max X?

    I am trying to make my own version of the midnight maxim with my maxim-x by swapping out certain chrome parts for black satin ones, leaving the raw or slightly polished aluminum accents to break things up. So what I am now tracking down is black exhaust parts and it seems that all I come across are 1983 Midnight Maxim 750 black mufflers and header pipes. So I am curious if they would fit/work on my 1986 Maxim-X?

    I have XJ750 head pipes flowing into a turbo collector on my Maxim-x motor. No mods needed. The mufflers? can't tell you.
