I have a 1982 XJ750 Maxim, and I'm looking to purchase this gauge cluster to replace my broken one.

I was looking into purchasing this cluster: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-Digital...rpm-/301380878143?hash=item462bb33f3f&vxp=mtr

Will this work with the XJ750? Obviously I will have to do some rewiring and probably a lot of trial and error, but will it work for things like tach & fuel? What about getting the gear indicator to work, or will that be impossible on my bike since it is not something the ATARI unit monitors?

I found a Wiring diagram for an XJ650 Seca on here, and it differs from my wiring a bit so I'm not sure if this unit would work with my existing wiring harness.

Would love to know if this would work as well. My speedo and tach exploded over the summer and want to install something more modern.

While these look cool I think these fine chinese products read in Km if you live in Canada then go for it ..but in USA not sure if these have a selection for MPH ...I believe I read a thread on installing a similiar unit ...wiring diagram was not so good as I recall and brackets to mount had to be fabricated. But anything can be made to work :)
