Hi. Just seeing if I can get more inspiration in a different Forum Section.

    Hi folks,

I've been searching these forums for a long time and getting some great inspiration and tips. I've chopped my 82 Maxim 650, and I'm working out how to hide a lot of the wiring. It already has the upgraded fuses. (P.O. did inline blades).

What I'm curious is for the differen methods of relocating the Rectifier and the TDI... Project Enlosures used? Using the old Air Box if you put pod filters on? What's everyone been doing for cleaning them up and who has pictures?!?

    Cheers!
    ~B

Someone on here did a really cool chop and put all the electrical and stuff, even the ingnition, in an ammo can on the left next to the back wheel. It looked really bada$$.

think of a plate on top or between the frame rails over the old fuse box/ air intake with the tci, reg under it
there's a lot of room in the boxed in area behind the steering stem to stuff wires and relays but that's kind of far for the tci/reg

I chopped my bike a bit and put the Reg in the "tool box" underneath the seat .

It fits right on top of the battery.
