Is there a wiring diagram of the '85 Maxim X available anywhere online? I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem with the thermal fan switch. The PO added a toggle switch and I can't figure out how he wired it. He added an inline fuse so I doubt he just wired it in parallel with the thermal switch. I can see the thermal switch and the wire and connector attached to the fan, but I can't find the mating connector for the fan.

I want to hook the thermal switch back up correctly to see if maybe it is ok and he just didn't let it get hot enough to turn on the fan. I'll rewire the toggle switch in parallel with the thermal switch.

I ordered the XJCDs a month ago but haven't seen them yet.

    Thanks for any help,
    Jim

Well, it was as I suspected. I dug around and found where the PO had disconnected the fan, reconnected it and it works fine. i guess he just expected it to come on sooner. It comes on at the white line between the black and red arcs on the guage and goes off a bit below the top of the black arc.

    All is well!
