    I'm trying to install a new starter and starter relay into my xv920 and I forgot which wire goes to the positive battery and which goes to the starter does the red and white go to the battery and the blue and white go to the starter or vise versa this is my first time working on the bike so I honestly don't know and I'm trying to learn

    The Blue/White wire is the trigger for the starter button. That will ground out at the starter swx on the bar and the red should be your power. The connector only goes in one way, so why are you worried about how it is wired?

    Oh silly me, the Bat + will go on the left terminal and the wire going to the starter will go on the right one.
