wiring

    hi i have a 81 yamaha maxim with a 86-88 radian motor and i cant get it to turn over the oil light comes on. it has oil.

    where does the white wire go?

    my bike was doing that. Do you hear a click when you puch the starter button? If you hear the click then give the starter a tap. It sounds like it needs a little TLC. If it is not even clicking then check the solenoid..

    Greetings Maxim600. There are a few white wires involved in a Maxim harness, care to narrow it down a bit? It would also be helpful if you could provide a schematic for the Radian.

    there is no click and the wiring is off a working bike i put the solenoids right back on once i got the wiring through the hole at the base of the gas tank.

    the white is on the oil sensor on the bottom of the motor.

    I HAVE BUILT A 1982 XJ 650 CHOPPER NOW I AM AT THE WIRE ING STAGE WIRING IS MY WEAKNESS I HAVE HEARD YOU CAN BREAK THE HARNESS DOWN TO 11 WIRES CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH A DIAGRAM PLLLEEEAAAASSSSEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
