    several years ago a gentleman joined the group and started asking lots of questions about restoring a bike that he had...

    i THINK he was Pakistan but i dont recall for certain...

    he had a 550 maxim that looked like it had been buried in the sand for 25 years. there was dust and dirt caked EVERYWHERE on this bike. he had it stripped down to a pile of parts and had started to clean it up. it was BAD in that there was dirt in the cylinders and crank case if i remember...

    anyway, i was wondering if anyone remembers who he was or he was maybe still around working on his ride...

    I remember that guy and the Bike.

    The Bike looked like it was unearthed in an archaeological dig.
    He had an All Points Bulletin out for over-sized Rings.
