I recently bought a 82 550 Seca for $300 as a project bike. I've just started tinkering around with motorcycles and am definitely a newbie. When I bought the bike, the rear wheel wouldn't move unless the chain is off and the clutch arm (hopefully this is the correct term) doesnt move. The clutch handle also does not engage. I've take the clutch cover off an once the cover bolts are off, the clutch arm moves. When I retighten, it ceases to move. Not sure what my next steps are.

With some many different issues, I'm having trouble finding a good place to start, but to make life easier, I'd like to be able to roll the bike with the chain on! Any advice or help would be much appreciated!

Thanks, XJ550H. I will give it a read and see if I can figure out what's wrong with it! Appreciate the quick response!
